Chapter two broke down almost all the basic art styles we commonly come across in illustration. For me, I related most to the drawing and painting sections. It talked about the diversity of styles you find but how similar they can come across. It also mentions the observed and the imagined. For me, I am a very observant drawer and painter. I do like to create my own unique work but watching people and the space around me has always been my thing. Later on, it broke down how different cultures around the world utilize different drawing standards or styles and its interesting to see how I myself compare based off of how I've grown up. I enjoyed this reading overall.
